Review:

Did I scream like a child when this thic boy arrived – hell yeah I fucking did!!!! I mean have you read any of Aveyard’s previous work? She is a fantastic writer, I mean, she is a writer that people should aspire to. So, why wouldn’t I be super hyped about this new series!?!

As always this will be a straight forward review.

The first few chapters are an info dump but trust me, when you get past that, everything thing will be fine. This diverse fantasy is different from others, which of course if brilliant when you read so many books! Basically it had very little romance (My black soul approves) and the romance pretty much takes place between the opposing villains

The magic system? Brilliant and not overly complex that leaves you with an essay of do’s and don’ts.

The journey, wonderful and ….wordly!

The characters were entertaining and gave me full LOTR vibes

I don’t think I can last a year until the next one!
