My goal for 2018 was to read more versatile books then what I would usually read, which does include some romance titles I have to admit. I also spread my wings and started listening to audio books as well. I know who am I? What am I becoming? Anyway here is a list of the books I read for the month and a quick overview of what I thought about them.
Off Limits – 3 stars
To begin with I thought this was just another smutty book but by the end it was still a smutty book. Though I did enjoy the sass the characters had and the fact you got both POV was great but what I didn’t like was that the characters would have sex right before a massive VC meeting. This doesn’t happen and is soo unrealistic that it killed it for me. Maybe I should stick to Paranormal Romance?
Delirium – 4 stars
This book was fantastic at the start. The plot was interesting and the characters were rich and amazing but the ending really bummed me out.
Prince Guide to the Occult – 4 stars
If this isn’t on your tbr then it should be. I have a whole review up a few posts ago so check it out.
Heir of Fire – 5 stars
FINALLY!!!!!! Totally not sorry but the first two books in this series were rubbish but thank god this book came along when it did otherwise I would have given up on the series! All I can say is Manon is amazing and after reading from her POV I now want to finish the series!!!
They Both Die at the End – 4 stars
Not since A Monster Calls have I felt such emotion in a book, though I am pleased to say I kept my bad gal reputation by not crying! This book was beautiful, heart breaking and really pulled all the strings. Please read this!
The Stakes – 3 stars
I loved the characters of this book but unfortunately I found the plot too predictable. A full review will be coming soon on this book!
Eragon – 5 stars
Brilliant! Beautiful! Dragons! gahhhhh!!!
Eldest – 4 Eldest
Please see above!!
So this is a quick wrap up I didn’t want to go into too much details with the overview or did we want more details about what I thought about the books?
Let me know. Leave me a comment.
Love Blue xx
Eragon is so under appreciated. i’m hoping my daughter will want to do a buddy read with me, when she has a break in her reading schedule, cause i’m itching for a reread.
