Thank you Austin Macauley Publishers for this book in exchange for an honest review

Synopsis:

An uneasy truce between werewolves and vampires all rests on one girl and her decision.

If Orianna doesn’t become the vampire queen she was born to be, then both clans will perish at the hands of their deadly enemies.

Will Orianna choose to follow her destiny and marry the werewolf king and unite the clans, or will she turn her back and let destruction reign?

Review:

Let’s start straight of the bat, there were two things that annoyed me about this book. The first one was that the book was simply not long enough and the second one is that there could have been a bit more detail involved.

Other than that I loved the characters, plot and writing.

Orianna took me some time to wrap my head around but once I did her boldness and ferocity was one to capture. Dimitri seemed charming and simply although he carried the same determination as Orianna. It isn’t too often you come across two characters with the same sort of personality that date and well they did, they do and it works.

I love the flashbacks scattered across this book, it kept things alive and dangerous, reminding you what tight situation they are in and what will happen to them if they are not careful, especially with the threat of death everywhere.

Though this book was only 115 pages long, it was an easy read with Wendy-Hindmarch keeping you enthralled along the way.

I am dying to see where this journey goes next.
