Synopsis:

Review:

This was actually my favourite book of the series. Without a world of a lie, there was overall great character growth, plot thickening and most importantly all of the characters having emotions instead of just the females!!

That and it was set 16 years in the future from the previous two which honestly felt like it made all the difference as I found that the characters were getting a little stale.

Tom and Hester are now officially adults with a daughter named Wren who has Hester’s rebellious streak running through her veins. Which is great, actually brilliant. Hester, in the first book, was a character that caught your gaze and you wanted to get her to seek her revenge, and then to blow it off the spectrum, she became a dull emotional rag in the second book.

You do start to see specs of the old fun and feisty Hester when Wren gets taken, when her mother instinct takes over and the need to kill resurfaces and I lovedddd it! Tom however was still a whiney bitch that I wanted to stab with a fork. STOP OVER THINKING IT DUDE! YOU KILL ME!

Besides the plot of the story and the introduction of new characters and old ones, there wasn’t enough to keep me highly amused. Don’t get me wrong there wasn’t a lot to hate about this book but after reading the other two, the series tends to drag on and I realllllllyyyyy hate it when we get into characters heads, it would be a lot less predictable and more exciting if we didn’t.
