Always and Forever, Lara Jean, Jenny Han

Synopsis:

And there’s still so much to look forward to: a class trip to New York City, prom with her boyfriend Peter, Beach Week after graduation, and her dad’s wedding to Ms. Rothschild. Then she’ll be off to college with Peter, at a school close enough for her to come home and bake chocolate chip cookies on the weekends.

Review:

Okay I fell for Peter and Lara Jean in this book, their relationship was cute. I know, I’m not into love and all that sappy shit but in my defence this book wasn’t too full of love crap, so I enjoyed it instead of wanting to barf.

Mind you the book didn’t spend the whole time fixated on their relationship, instead it focused on the end of school, college acceptance and long distance relationships. It gave it a very realistic end of high school feel which is brilliant considering the usual end of high school is always depicted as easy and hassle free.

I love how this ended too, it wasn’t over dramatic but yet completely satisfied. And that’s all I’m saying about the ending as this is a spoiler free review but you get my drift.

Overall this was a cute and light hearted read that was cute and enjoyable to read.
