Synopsis:
The relationship between teenage adopted sisters Gamora and Nebula is as volatile as ever. When they end up on a deteriorating planet being mined for its valuable resources, the two sisters are faced with a series of events that force them to explore the source of their rivalry-and where their loyalty truly lies. This action-packed yet sincere story will tug on the heartstrings of anyone who has ever had to learn how deeply weird and changeable trust can be.
Review:
Would have to say that this was better than Loki, and I thought that was damn good.
You instantly get thrown in the deep end, amidst the battle between these two dynamic characters from both POV’s. You get the care yet determination of Gamora and then the complexity and grey thought process from Nebula that really build these two strong women up more than what the cinematic universe does. You get more of their history and the pain and shifts it caused in their relationship and how their morals and beliefs get re-evaluated through trauma and pain.
The plot was there from the open page and held your hand the whole way through the book, while you could see where this going, you were still amused along the way. Lee has delivered light on these two characters that are genuinely overlooked and I applaud it!
