P.S. I Still Love You, Jenny Han

Synopsis:

Lara Jean didn’t expect to really fall for Peter.
She and Peter were just pretending. Except suddenly they weren’t. Now Lara Jean is more confused than ever.
When another boy from her past returns to her life, Lara Jean’s feelings for him return too. Can a girl be in love with two boys at once?

Review:

Sequels are always the worst in the series. It might be because our expectations are extremely high after finishing the book or it might just be the way of the world. The second book always sucks.

P>S I Still Love You was focused on the relationship between Peter and Lara Jean and it was icky and grouse. I don’t even put this much love into my own relationship (personal space is key people) why would I want to spend more time in their relationship.

I know the book is based on their relationship but it wasn’t as funny, didn’t have as many one-liners as the previous book. So therefore, not that interesting.

You see Peter still hang out with his ex and you see a new interest in Lara Jean’s life and it is a serious case of ‘oh will they be honest with each other and stay together or split?’

Also Stormy from the nursing home is my life, she was full of sass and didn’t hold anything back. Honestly she is what I hope to be when I get old! Stormy is a legend

Overall, there was a few moments that kept the book interesting but overall, it was a little too lovie dovie for me.
